About the Comic

Thanks for reading. This comic was finally brought to life in January 2026 after months of wanting to capture the joy and whimsy of webcomics in the 2000s. These comics left their mark on me and they beckon back to an internet of simpler days. The style is also inspired by Shonen manga, which I grew up reading every week.

My intention with this comic was to highlight the values of repair and contrast the quick consumerism that fills our lives today. We follow the story of a good-hearted boy named Cole Fernwright as he discovers a magical set of safety glasses that brings him face to face with his late Grandfather. The two work to fix and maintain a crumbling world, one object at a time.
